My 1UP WHEY Protein Experience Story
Given that I love coconut, I was excited to try the 1UP WHEY Protein Coconut Ice Cream flavor in the hopes that it would be a welcomed treat for my post-workout routine. I was eager to test it when I opened the jar because it had a delicious coconut aroma. It was very easy to mix and had a creamy texture when combined with milk or water.
I took a sip and was immediately smacked with a strong sweetness that was nearly too much. Though I had anticipated a Coconut flavor, I found it to have an artificial coconut type of flavor and it was excessively sweet with an unpleasant aftertaste.
I discovered that the shake didn’t keep me satisfied for an extended period of time. After a few hours, I started to get hungry once more, which was disappointing because I had hoped for a more filling post workout or lunch alternative.
