SlimFast Protein Shake: Product Review

The SlimFast protein shake is an inexpensive, convenient meal replacement option that primarily aids with weight loss but also helps to add more protein, nutrients, and vitamins into customer’s meal plans.

In fact, the SlimFast protein shake contains 24 essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, C, D, E and Zinc. Each SlimFast shake mix provides a significant amount of protein and fiber. SlimFast also advertises that consuming two of their protein shakes per day will help customers shed weight and help stay on track with their overall weight goals.

While other protein powders often have exorbitant pricesSlimFast sets themselves above the rest with their excellent pricing options, which allows them to provide reliable meal alternatives at affordable rates.

Slim Fast Shake Review

Nutritional Ingredients and Info

While SlimFast claims that each protein shake contains 10 grams of protein, according to their serving size it seems that the SlimFast protein shake actually contains 2 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per serving. As you can see, the SlimFast powder shake contains heavy amounts of sugar, which can lead to bloating and energy crashes.

SlimFast protein mix also contains a high number of artificial ingredients, preservatives, and potentially harmful chemicals such as disodium phosphate, silicon dioxide, acesulfame potassium, aspartame, and red 40, many of which are known to be carcinogens

Price

The biggest benefit of the SlimFast protein shake is certainly its unbeatable price. If you’re someone who’s looking to enjoy meals onthego at a fair price, SlimFast offers reasonable rates on their protein mixes. While other protein powders can be double or even triple the amount in the current market, SlimFast keeps prices low so that their protein shakes can be enjoyed by all.

Flavor and Texture

While an element of grittiness is typically present in most protein shakes since they’re so dense with nutrients, SlimFast protein shakes seems to lean more on the heavier side of grittiness to the point where some customers complained that they have to chew the shake to get it down.

Beyond that, since there’s such a high sugar content, SlimFast shakes taste better than the average protein powder. The chocolate flavor is a bit deeper and fuller than the vanilla and does an even better job at covering up that protein-like taste.

What Customers Are Saying

Many customers seem thrilled with Slimfast, saying that they love not only the flavor but the fact that they’re seeing real weight loss results after integrating the protein shakes into their daily meals.

However, other customers report the opposite, saying not only do they not see an improvement with their weight but also that they’re often still hungry afterwards, which beats the purpose of a meal replacementBecause of its high sugar content, some customers also complain that the drink is too sweet and that they wish it had less sugar and more protein.

In general, many customers seem happy with the product as suggested by the ratings below.

Conclusion

SlimFast might not be the protein shake for everyone. Due to its poor nutritional value and high content of artificial and chemical ingredients, if you have a sensitive system or are trying to steer clear from harmful ingredients, this may not be a great fit. On the other hand, SlimFast has an unbeatable price, excellent taste, and some customers report being very pleased with their weight loss results.

All in all, SlimFast may be a good option for a quick meal on the run but may not be a solution if you’re trying to find a long-term, nutritionally rich meal replacement option.
